Alberttown handyman’s death caused by brain haemorrhage, blunt trauma to head

A post-mortem examination conducted on Tikaram Sukhdas, a handyman who collapsed and died shortly after he was punched, revealed his cause of death as brain haemorrhage and blunt trauma to the head.

The examination was performed last Wednesday by Dr Nehaul Singh at the Georgetown Public Hospital mortuary.

Acting Commander of Region 4(a) Senior Superintendent Khali Pareshram, when contacted, stated that a file will be prepared and sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for further advice on the matter.
