A construction worker was on Tuesday remanded to prison after he was charged with attempted murder.
The offence was allegedly committed on 28-year-old Vishal Singh, a groundsman of Sophia.
Joel Haynes, 30, of Sophia, appeared before Magistrate Rochelle Liverpool at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him.
According to the facts in the matter, the incident occurred on March 5 at ‘C’ Field Sophia.
He was not required to plead to the charge and was remanded to prison until April 12 when the matter will be called again.
