A nineteen-year-old chainsaw operator of Wauna, North West District, Region 1 has been admitted a patient at the Mabaruma Regional Hospital after he was found with stab wounds.
Police said Cleveland Fredricks was found by his father outside of their home with two stab wounds to his chest and was bleeding profusely.
Earlier in the day, police said Fredricks left home with his cousin to make a purchase. Later, the father told police that he heard a knocking outside of their home and upon inspecting he found his son with the stab wounds.
The father “found the victim in a black long pants without shirt and two stab wounds to the victim’s chest which were bleeding at the time. He then asked the victim what happened and the victim told him that (name given had) stabbed him,” police related.
It was at that point, his father rushed him to seek medical attention at the regional hospital where he has since been admitted. His condition is regarded as stable.
