The Public Service Georgetown Office Assistants will stage a three day seven-a side tapeball cricket competition from March 27th-29th at the Durban Park Tarmac, Homestretch Avenue.
This is according to a press release from long standing sport coordinator James Lewis, who said that the competition has received the permission of the National Covid-19 Task Force.
“The Public Service GOA will be staging a big countrywide, knockout tape ball cricket competition for all tapeball cricket teams,” a release from the organisers stated.
Entrance fee per team is $15,000. At stake will be trophies and cash incentives for the winning and runner-up teams.
All teams must adhere to all the COVID-19 guidelines as strict COVID-19 rules will be in place.
The competition runs from March 27-29 on the Durban Park Tarmac from 9:00am.
“All tape ball teams must register no later than 23rd March 2021 with James ‘Uprising’ Lewis, the coordinator at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation. Contact number is 628-1656 or 689-5109,” the release stated.
