The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) later this year, is expected to be the recipient of unprecedented assistance coming from India and England while two international English players are set for a two-day visit.
This was revealed by president of the county board, Hilbert Foster during the unveiling of the BCB/Shimron Hetmyer Trust Fund on Sunday.
According to Foster, “We will create history when containers of gear will arrive in Guyana sometime later this year from England and also from India and from India we are also expecting computers and bicycles, etc., for our young cricketers who need them. Every single cricket club in Berbice and every single school in Berbice will benefit.”
