Dear Editor,
This letter is in reference to the news item ‘Maraiko Bay Mahaica Luxury Development delayed. There is the Bellany canal in the centre of this development which runs from Cottage, Mahaicony to the Mahaica River, a distance of nine (9) miles and 140ft wide. The sluice is controlled by the MMA. My question is – who will control the sluice in the future? I am a fisherman there. My friend, with seven (7) subjects GCE and over 27 years of service, is currently working there.
