O’Neisha Stellingburg, the woman who lost control of the car she was driving a week and a half ago at Moblissa, Linden Highway, remains in an unconscious state in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Stellingburg, 24, of Blueberry Hill, Wismar Linden, was at the time of the accident said to be travelling at a fast rate of speed.
A police report stated that the accident occurred just about 3.30 am on March 9 along the Moblissa Public Road.
Police enquiries had revealed that the woman was proceeding north on the western side of the Moblissa Public Road at a fast rate, when she lost control of the vehicle, which ended up on the eastern parapet before turning turtle.
Stellingburg was removed from the car in an unconscious state by public-spirited persons and was rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex, where she was seen by a doctor and treated for head injuries.
She was subsequently transferred to seek further medical attention at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), where she remains in an unconscious state, nursing head injuries.
