The police are probing the discovery of a motorcar, which was found on fire at Swan Village on the Soesdyke /Linden Highway on Sunday night.
Stabroek News understands that the discovery was made by members of the Soesdyke Community Policing group, who reportedly received a call from a resident informing them that the car had been abandoned in the area.
It is suspected that the motor vehicle, a Toyota fielder wagon motorcar, was the getaway car used in the murder of gold dealer Ricardo Fagundes outside of Palm Court on Sunday night.
Police are investigating.
