Dear Editor,
Why has CARICOM not made any statement on, much less condemn the Myanmar coup and its awful fallout as citizens are murdered on a daily by the army? Where does Guyana stand on this issue? Why has CARICOM not made any statement on, much less condemn the genocidal campaign by China against the Uighur people? Where does Guyana stand on this issue? Often times silence says so much more than words and can be interpreted as acceptance if not complicity.
