As of last night the public health team has administered 39831 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, according to Dr Leslie Ramsammy, advisor to the Minister of Health.
In a Facebook post, Ramsammy, a former Minister of Health, said: “We will double this amount by end of next week. I’m proud of the public health nurses, the doctors and the volunteers who are working with the teams. Every one who has been vaccinated can attest to the professional service being provided. I’m grateful to these vaccination angels. Next week, if you are 40 years and older, please come out and get your vaccine”.
