Two men failed in a bid to rob a Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden supermarket on Saturday.
Police inquiries disclosed that the victims, Zhin Gao Dai and Sheng Zhi Dan operate a supermarket at the above mentioned location. Around 7.59 pm they were about to close the supermarket when one of the victims was approached by the two males.
“He raised an alarm as one of the suspects was about to search the cash register and they ran out the supermarket empty handed”, the police said.
Checks were made in the area for the suspects but they were not seen.
