The Ministry of Health says that two men who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 252.
The latest fatalities are a 73-year-old male from Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) and a 59-year-old male from Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne). They both died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
