The Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday reported that 105 more COVID-19 cases were confirmed, bringing the total number cases in Guyana to 10, 958.
According the COVID-19 dashboard, 36 of the new cases are from Region Three, 46 from Region Four, 5 from Regions Five, 4 each from Region Six and Region Seven, and 10 from Region Ten. The results were confirmed from 780 tests that were done.
According to the dashboard, there are 13 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 71 in institutional isolation, 1059 in home isolation and 9 persons in institutional quarantine. The dashboard stated that 252 persons who were infected with the disease have died, while 9,576 have recovered.
