Cyclists will be back in action tomorrow for just the third time this quiet season, battling for spoils on the open roads.

The COVID-19 Task Force recently gave the green light to the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) to stage an event within the confines of the guidelines of the pandemic.

Tomorrow’s 60-mile race will begin at Carifesta Avenue. The peloton will proceed to Half Way Tree  before returning to the point of origin for the finish.

The start time of this event will commence at 07:00hrs and the GCF is imploring all competitors to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines.

Registration for the fixture will begin an hour prior to the start of the race at the starting line and each rider should wear their mask and will have their temperature checked upon registration.

Marcus Keiler won the season opener while Britton John soloed to victory in the open races staged so far this season. Other riders along with the duo will be gunning for a win tomorrow.
