(Trinidad Express) Thedeath of a 96-year-old woman in Siparia is being investigated by homicide officers.
Utilda Joseph, of Hillview Lane, Quarry Village, was found dead at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
Her hands were bound and officers suspect she was murdered.
Police say Joseph’s house was ransacked and items were missing.
Residents say the old woman was feeble and unable to fight anyone who came to rob her.
Investigators believe Joseph was robbed and killed by someone she may have known, and trusted.
