Mohammed was the winner of Saturday’s seven rounds online blitz tournament organised by the GCF.
Seond place went to Loris Nathoo while current GCF president Frankie Farley placed third.
Mohammed ended the tournament with 12 points from a possible 14 while Nathoo ended on 11 points and Farley 10.
Farley was one of five players ending on 10 points but won the bronze medal on the tiebreak.
Glenford Corlette, Anthony Drayton, Justino Da Silva and Hemraj Sanichara were the other players that ended with 10 points.
Davion Mars, Ricardo Narine and Rawl Rajaram rounded out the top 10 places.
Some 35 players participated in Saturday’s tournament. The players were involved in another tournament yesterday.
