A nail technician has been placed on $20,000 bail after she denied that she uploaded explicit photos of two persons to the internet.
Merissa Waterman, 26, of Lot 56 David Street, Kitty, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts to answer to the charges that between January 30, 2021 and January 31, 2021, at Kitty, she used a computer system to transmit data that was explicit, to humiliate the victims, thus causing them distress.
Following not-guilty pleas to both charges, Waterman was placed on $10,000 bail for each charge and the matters were adjourned until May 24.
