The Ministry of Health today said that three more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 277.
The latest fatalities are three males, a 42-year-old from Region 6 (East Berbice- Corentyne), a 70-year-old from Region 5 (Mahaica-Berbice) and a 76-year-old male from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica).
They died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
