Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited has a new Managing Director (MD) as of today.
An advertisement by the bank in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek said that Stephen Grell has rejoined the Republic Bank family as the new MD of its operations here.
He assumes the post following the retirement of the current MD Amral Khan. The advertisement said that Khan’s retirement comes after a 36-year career in banking.
Grell was appointed Managing Director designate on March 1st, 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Science in Finance, both from Florida International University.
Grell’s most recent position was Vice President, Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory at Citibank in Trinidad.
