Tenders were recently opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board for the rehabilitation of 20 pontoons for the Demerara Harbour Bridge. This project is estimated to cost some $241 million. Another notable project is the construction of a building at Camp Street for the Ministry of Education which is estimated to cost $447 million.
