A man has been granted bail after police say he had 225 grammes of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Tishawn McKenzie was taken before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday when he denied the trafficking in narcotics charge.
The charge states that on April 25, at Lot 60 Laing Avenue, he had in his possession 225 grammes of cannabis for purpose of trafficking.
Following his not-guilty plea, he was released on $20,000 bail and the matter was adjourned until June 2.
