Sustainable Environment Solutions (SES) Incorporated was launched in Guyana on Tuesday and has won a contract to manage ExxonMobil’s hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
The company is a joint venture partnership among Gaico Construction and General Services Inc, Guyana Shore Base Inc, and the Corena Group, an international waste management company from Finland.
According to a Gaico statement, SES brings strong local content in keeping with the government’s initiative to have more local involvement in the oil & gas businesses, and achieving the highest international waste management standards. It was disclosed that the SES facility has been designed to manage a wide range of wastes.
