The Ministry of Health today said that four more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 303.
The latest fatalities are a 53-year-old female from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica), a 67-year-old male from Region 6 (East Berbice-Corentyne), a 72-year-old from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica) and a 56-year-old from Region 7 (Cuyuni-Mazaruni).
They died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
