Dear Editor,
Where there is smoke there is fire, huge fire! After the catastrophe comes the reminder for high rise buildings to be equipped and outfitted with fire-fighting systems and equipment along with safety feature. The city landscape is dotted with several high rise buildings and the one take away from this recent disaster is that these buildings must be frequently and routinely inspected and where lacking the requirements must be strictly and rigidly enforced. There can be no compromise to this. While their efforts could not save the massive building, fire-fighters must be commended for saving surrounding buildings.
