Indar says two Belle West streets to be done

Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar, has promised residents of Belle West, West Bank Demerara that two of their streets—some 394 meters of the road will be rehabilitated within a month’s time.

This is according to a press release from the Ministry which said that Indar visited the village yesterday and met residents who raised a number of other concerns pertaining to electricity, drainage, water quality and pressure, crime, noise nuisance and land titling.

According to the release, the minister was told that some 75 farmers have been attempting to uplift land titles, for some time now, in Belle East which he said he will communicate to Minister of Agriculture, Zulfikar Mustapha for intervention.
