Dear Editor,
In the letter column yesterday, Donald Ramotar stated that the 2nd World War ended on May 09, 1945. Yes, the European theatre ended on that date but the war continued in the Japanese theatre until September 02. This was after two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki respectively. So the conclusion of the 2nd World War was September 02 1945.
