The Guyana Football Federation (GFF), on Friday conducted their second round of COVID-19 testing for players following the resumption of training sessions at the National Training Centre, Providence.
This was disclosed by a source close to the training squad who spoke on the condition of anonymity. According to the source, the testing of the players occurred Friday morning at the GFF facility and was conducted by seven health officials.
The source explained, “They were three from the GPHC and four from the ministry who conducted the testing of the players. All but three young national players were tested and the results are expected to be received 48 hours after which should be today at the latest. The GFF will provide the information to the players on their respective statuses.”
