Congratulations to Demerara Bank on their recent financial performance as reported. A few Saturdays ago I accompanied a relative to open an account at their Diamond Branch. I did feel a sense of pride knowing that Demerara Bank® is organically Guyanese. I commend the management of Demerara Bank® Dia-mond for ensuring all protocols were in place on that date as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a pleasure to wait for my relative in their beautiful landscaped gardens.
