Team Guyana snatched three medals on Day One of the Senior South American Championships yesterday in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Sprinters Emanuel Archibald, Jasmine Abrams and Jenea McCammon were the athletes on the podium draped in the Golden Arrowhead.
Archibald earned a silver medal in the blue riband 100m men’s event clocking 10.23s to finish behind Brazil’s Felipe Bardi (10.10s).
