In yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek it was incorrectly reported that efforts were being made to convene a parliamentary sitting this week.
There is currently no date for the next sitting of the National Assembly. The Parliament Office is however making efforts to be ready by June 1 to hold Committee meetings and Sittings whenever they are called. The Sunday Stabroek regrets the error.
