(Trinidad Guardian) The Ministry of Health has reported another nine more deaths from the COVID-19 virus over the past 24-hours.
In its daily report Sunday, the ministry also reported another 637 people had contracted the virus, over the period May 21 to May 29.
The 9 deaths yesterday took the overall death count to 479.
Active cases now stand at 9,607. There are currently 458 patients in hospitals.
According to the ministry’s data, 93,293 people have received their first doses of the vaccine while 1,179 have received their second doses.
There are 181 people in step-down facilities, 122 in State quarantine facilities and 8,331 in home quarantine.
