Walter Grant-Stuart, Suzanne Hamilton and Aaron Newton brought the curtain down on the Guyana Cycling Federation’s (GCF) National Road Race Championships yesterday with wins in their respective categories.
Grant-Stuart took the Masters title, Hamilton triumphed in the female division and Newton was the victor in the class of the juniors for the rain drenched event which was staged around the 11.3km Mahaica/Unity Circuit.
Ten years after winning the Senior National Road Race event, the differently abled Grant-Stuart earned the spoils eight-lap event to be crowned Master’s Road Race Champion 2021.
