A Venezuelan national who was allegedly found with a firearm and ammunition was recently charged and remanded to prison.
The accused, Garcia Ferrer Junior Jose, 38, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where the charges were read to him.
He pleaded not guilty to the two charges of possession of a firearm and ammunition and was subsequently remanded to prison.
The matter has been adjourned to June 14.
