The Ministry of Health today said that as of June 12, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 426.
The latest fatalities are two men, a 63-year-old from Region 6 (East Berbice- Corentyne) and a 71-year-old from Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Berbice). They died while receiving care at the ministry medical facility.
