A Lusignan Prison escapee was recaptured on Thursday after he was found at a construction site at Onderneeming, West Bank Demerara.
According to a Guyana Police Force (GPF) release, Radko Simeon, called Davo Simeon, 32, a mason of Onder-neeming, was arrested four months after he escaped from the Lusignan Prison on February 8.
The release said Simeon was arrested by police who were acting on information when they went to the construction site at 4.30 pm and recaptured the man.
Simeon, who was due for release in August, had been serving a 16-month sentence for break and enter and larceny.
