The Ministry of Health today said that as of June 21, 2021, three more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 452.
The latest fatalities are a woman, 74, from Region 10; a man, 48, from Region Four and a woman, 32, from Region Nine.
The patients were admitted with COVID-19 like symptoms but died while receiving care at state medical institutions. Samples were taken at the time of admission which subsequently returned positive tests.
