The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Guyana (UG) with the aim of bridging the gap between industry and academia.
A release from the Chamber said that the MoU was signed during a ceremony held at the University of Guyana, Turkeyen Campus. GCCI President, Timothy Tucker, and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Paloma Mohamed-Martin, signed on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under the long-term agreement, the GCCI and the University of Guyana will cooperate in the areas of education, training, and research.
