Four more COVID-19 fatalities added to June’s toll

Four more COVID-19 fatalities were added yesterday to June’s toll and as a result increased the total number of deaths in the country to 473.

The Ministry of Health in a press release stated that three of the four persons passed on June 29 and were from Region Four. They were identified as a 71-year-old woman, a 54-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman. The fourth individual passed on June 30 and was identified as a 91-year-old woman from Region Six.

As a result, the total number of deaths recorded for the month of June, 2021 now stands at 75 making June the second deadliest month, behind May which recorded 99 fatalities.
