‘Trini’, ‘Lil Alfey’ charged with murder of taxi driver

Two men were yesterday jointly charged with the murder of Kenrick Trim, a taxi driver who was found dead at Ogle last Wednesday, a short distance away from his car.

The accused Kenty Bacchus called ‘Trini’, 34, of Water Street, Georgetown, and Seyon James called ‘Lil Alfey’, a fish vendor of Laing Avenue, West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, both appeared before Magistrate Rochelle Liverpool at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court.

They were not allowed to plead to the indictable charge and were remanded to prison until August 6, 2021 when the matter will be called again in Court Two for report and fixture.
