A woman has been released on $40,000 bail after she denied assaulting a police officer and behaving disorderly in a public place.
Shanice Farinha was on Friday brought before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in a city court where she denied two charges.
It is alleged that she committed both offences on June 1, at Croal Street, Georgetown.
Following not-guilty pleas, she was asked to lodge $30,000 bail on the assault charge and $10,000 bail on the disorderly behaviour charge. The matters were adjourned until September 13.
