Guyana’s active COVID-19 cases on the decline

Guyana’s active COVID-19 cases have been declining as of late, according to the Minister of Health.

Earlier this week the Health Minister, Dr Frank Anthony had stated that over the last few weeks, there has been a decline in the number of active cases. “If you have been looking at the number over the last couple of weeks we would have seen a relative decline in the number of active cases.”

When Stabroek News examined the active-case numbers for the first 15 days of July compared to the same period for June, a decline was noticed. In previous months, the number of active cases fluctuated.
