Twenty-nine ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) are presently before the courts on various charges after they were found in breach of the force’s Code of Conduct and Standing Orders.
“Yes, we have had deviants who have breached the Police Force’s Code of Conduct and Standing Orders. We are not going to be naïve and bury our heads in the sand,” Commissioner of Police (ag) Nigel Hoppie said.
He made this revelation while delivering his address at the GPF’s 182nd Anniversary award ceremony which was held yesterday morning at the Police Officer’s Mess, Eve Leary.
