The Ministry of Public Works says it has observed that a section of the recently completed Hauraruni Access Road (Phase I) on the East Bank of Demerara has collapsed within the last twenty-four hours.
“We would like the public to know that the Ministry has contacted the contractor for corrective/remedial works to be executed. Road users are asked to exercise caution and observe all directional and safety signs in the area”, the Department of Public Information reported the ministry as saying.
