Private sector discusses electoral reform, governance with new UK envoy

A Private Sector Commission (PSC) delegation led by its chairman Paul Cheong yesterday met with the new UK High Commissioner to Guyana, Jane Caroline Miller and discussed a range of matters including electoral reform.

A release from the PSC said that  cordial and fruitful discussion were held on matters pertaining to governance, electoral reform, local content, joint ventures, ease of doing business, enhancement of technical skills and the overall enhancement of business activities. 

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association.
