Emanuel Archibald’s debut appearance at the ongoing Olympic Games ended yesterday in round one of the men’s 100m staged at the Olympic stadium in Tokyo, Japan.
After clocking 10.30s in a second place effort in the preliminary round, the native of Linden could not replicate or produce a faster timing in round one.
The 26-year-old finished a disappointing last of nine runners in a sub-par 10.41s in heat two which was won by Nigeria’s Enoch Adegoke who produced a blistering personal best run of 9.98s.
