Introduced to playing with legos at two years old, Alonzo Noble, who is now eight years old, is the president and founder of the Let’s Go Lego Builders Club, which was launched last Saturday at MovieTowne.

His doting mother Lynn Medford said that legos have been a huge part of Alonzo’s life and he has grown to be an amazing builder. The young club president who started out using the guides that came with the boxes of legos quickly evolved to building from imagination.

The idea of the club was conceived following Alonzo’s visit to Legoland in Denmark. Though he knows that many children in Guyana have some experience playing with Legos, the youngster believes there is much that is being missed out on and hopes that the club can foster the habit of children being more imaginative with their Lego creations.
