A Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara man is now wanted by the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) following the discovery of more than 540 pounds of marijuana at Campbell Avenue, Georgetown, on Friday.
CANU yesterday afternoon issued a wanted bulletin for Dexter Morris, also known as ‘Bajan,’ of Lot 26 Second Street, Cummings Lodge, ECD.
The wanted bulletin was issued one day after two persons were taken into custody in relation to the marijuana find.
In a brief statement on Friday night, CANU had said that the discovery was made during a joint operation with members of the Guyana Police Force. The agency said searches were done at two locations within the Campbell Avenue area and a route 32 (Georgetown-Parika) minibus was also searched.
