An Essequibo businessman got a literal rude awakening on Saturday when he was attacked by robbers in the early hours of Saturday morning.
As a result, 67-year-old Hassan Ali, of Huis T’ Dieren, is now counting losses totaling approximately $835,500, which includes a bag of money, an XR motorcycle, with licence plate CK 8430, and a cell phone.
The attack occurred at 3am.
