The Ministry of Health today said that as September 07, 2021, two more persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 656.
The latest fatalities are two females, an 81-year-old from Region 4 (Demerara-Mahaica)and a 36-year-old from Region 3 (Essequibo Islands – West Demerara). They both died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
