Four vehicles were damaged on Monday after a motorcycle failed to stop at the intersection at Croal and Albert streets, Georgetown.
The police, in a statement, said a hire car, HC 7448, driven by Dawane Sobers, was proceeding west on Croal Street, while a motorcycle, CK 4968, which was ridden by Victor Logan, was proceeding south on Albert Street. As both vehicles approached the intersection of Croal and Albert streets, Logan failed to stop at the intersection and rode into the path of the hire car, colliding with the front section.
As a result, the driver fell on the roadway and he suffered injuries about his body.
The report explained that Sobers then lost control of his vehicle and collided with two cars, PLL 8208, and PRR 1355.
At the time of the collision, 20-year-old Stephanie Daniels, Emanuel Daniels, 17, and Christine Daniels, 22, were seated in the hire car.
The three passengers and Logan were taken by an ambulance to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where Logan was admitted with a fractured left hip and abrasions about his body.
A notice of intended prosecution was served on Sobers.
